Nick and Erin Allen, husband-and-wife photography team

Meet Nick & Erin Allen

We're Nick and Erin Allen, a husband-and-wife photography team based in beautiful Idaho. We met on a blind date in college nearly 22 years ago and have been working side by side for the past 20 years. We're down-to-earth people who value genuine connections with every family we meet.

We have three children — Noah, Zach, and Elise — and love that owning our photography business allows us to spend more time watching them grow.

Our journey hasn't always been easy. We've moved 12 times, lived in four states, and rebuilt our photography business several times. During the pandemic, we closed our Texas studio and moved our family — including two dogs and two cats — into a camper in Wyoming for six months. In 2021, we relocated to Boise, and in 2023, we once again opened our photography studio from scratch.

Running a business can be stressful, but getting to create meaningful memories for families while being present for our own makes it all worthwhile.
