This class is designed to provide students with both practical instruction and encouragement as they learn step by step in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Your Instructor
Meet Sue Thometz
Sue Thometz has spent her life serving others and investing in the next generation.
Before retirement, Sue taught Home Economics, helping students develop practical life skills that would serve them well beyond the classroom. Her passion for teaching continues today through sewing, where she patiently encourages students as they develop confidence and creativity one project at a time.
Sue also faithfully serves by leading the hospitality ministry at her church, coordinating and preparing meals for large gatherings and special events. Her servant's heart is evident in everything she does.
As a loving grandmother, Sue treasures time with her family and enjoys passing practical skills on to younger generations. She loves the Lord and views teaching as an opportunity to encourage, mentor, and invest in the lives of young people.
Her desire is not simply to teach students how to use a sewing machine—it is to equip them with lifelong skills, confidence, patience, and a love for creating things that bless others.
